Available year-round, perfect for timeless family photos—no weather woes here! Lavender Lane Photography presents Motherhood Minis for 2022.

We welcome you into our beautiful Natural Light Studio at Chermside West for these short but delightful motherhood mini sessions which will take place on Saturday 16 April, Saturday 7th and Saturday 21 May.

Sample pictures can be seen below. This year we will have a low-set ensemble bed decorated with beachy boho vibes. Think textured natural coloured bedding with throws and comfortable pillows throughout. Whitewashed wooden bench and white peacock chair. Large vases with all sorts of dried flowers ranging from palms, mulhy grass, peonies, wheat, pampas grass, ferns, bunny tails and ruscus. Beachy boho rugs on the floor and whitewash room dividers in the back. All items are already purchased, we are simply waiting for space in the studio to set it all up and to do a model call.

Each year our mini sessions sell out well before the mini session day rolls around. We encourage you to purchase your mini as soon as you decide you are interested in doing so.

Online Viewing Galleries will be sent to clients within 10 days of their Motherhood Mini Session. Orders will be delivered via an online Download Gallery within 10 days of the Order being submitted.

Upgrades are available for $40 each or five for $150.

Some Terms and Conditions apply but some important terms include:

Promotional Gift Certificates are exempt.
The $50 holding deposit is non-refundable, and will not be refunded under any circumstance.
A makeup day has been set aside for those that are unwell and are unable to attend their scheduled mini session – though we ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible.
The holding deposit is $50 + credit card handling fee. The balance of $150 + credit card handling fee will be due on the day by our contactless card reader.
We ask all attendees to arrive 10-minutes early to ensure that they are picture ready and are covid compliant.

Real Santa Christmas Minis

Christmas Minis with Real Santa 2024 coming in mid October 2024.

Real Santa was such a big hit last year, we have decided to up the ante by increasing the session time AND the number of images. WAHOO!

This year we are asking our Christmas Mini clients to arrive 10-minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time, where one of our Team will meet you outside to check your temperature, take the balance payment and to make sure you and your family are ready and organised for your mini session.

Mini sessions this year will take 30-minutes in the studio and each Mini purchase will come with 7 of your favourite images. 15-minutes on Set 1 with Real Santa and then 15-minutes on Set 2 with Christine.

Our team and I will send you your online Viewing Gallery within 10 days of your mini session, and your Download Gallery will be sent to you within 10 days of your Order being placed.

Promotional Gift Certificates are exempt from these minis – these special sessions are already heavily discounted and are a special in and of themselves.

If you would like to include more than one family, we suggest booking two back-to-back appointments so that we have time to organise everyone.

Faux Santa Christmas Minis

Our Real Santa Christmas Minis sold out quickly, so we have decided to launch some more Christmas Minis with our old Faux Santa, aka Nicole’s husband Brett.

Our Faux Santa Christmas Minis are taking place on the morning of Saturday 12 November ONLY. Get in quick to book the most ideal time for your family – these sessions are very popular and will book out quickly.

We ask our mini clients to arrive 15-minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time, where one of our Team will meet you outside to check your temperature, take the balance payment and to make sure you and your family are ready and organised for your mini session. Mini sessions this year will take 20-minutes in the studio with Nicole or her associate photographer. Each family will have 10-minutes with each set. The studio space will be shared with another family.

Our team and I will send you your online Viewing Gallery within approximately 10 days of your mini session, and your Download Gallery will be sent to you within approximately 10 days of your Order being placed.

We do not recommend attempting a mini session with a newborn baby. If you would like to include more than one family, we suggest booking two back-to-back appointments so that we have time to organise everyone.
