Today was an incredibly special day as we welcomed the newest addition to a beautiful family—baby Ivey! This sweet little girl, born into a family of four, is already surrounded by so much love, especially from her two big brothers, Harley and Sonny. The joy and excitement in the air were palpable as her parents beamed with pride, eager to have some updated family photos to celebrate this new chapter.
We began the session by photographing Ivey on a cozy bean bag, where she looked absolutely serene while sleeping. With a delicate headband of flowers adorning her tiny head, and the softest of poses, it was clear that this little one is cherished beyond words. Every angle captured the pure innocence of a newborn, making these Newborn Photos something the family will treasure forever.
Next, it was time for some sibling love! Harley and Sonny were over the moon to pose with their new baby sister. We took individual shots of each boy with Ivey, as well as a few of them together. Watching them handle their sister with such gentle care was truly heartwarming. It’s evident that these two will be the best big brothers, always there to protect and play with little Ivey.
Of course, no Newborn Photography session is complete without some beautiful family photos. Gathering everyone together, we captured the joy of their growing family. The love they share is evident in every smile, every embrace, and those cheeky grins that tell a story of deep connection and happiness.
To wrap up the session, we had some fun with props, placing Ivey in fluffy bowls and handwoven baskets. This part of the shoot allowed for a bit of creative play as we added different hats, headbands, and even a teddy bear for a few adorable shots. The results were simply enchanting.
It was an absolute delight to be the Newborn Photographer for this lovely family. Capturing these fleeting moments of Ivey’s first days was truly special, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes them next. Watching families grow and being part of their story is what makes Newborn Photography so rewarding, and today was no exception.
