I recently had the privilege of being the maternity photographer for Samantha, her husband, and their adorable 3-year-old daughter, Mila. Our session took place on a bright, sunny day at Bribie Island, a perfect setting to create some unforgettable maternity photos.
As soon as we met, it was clear how excited Samantha and her family were about baby number two. We began our session on the beach, where Samantha slipped into our stunning white Bridie skirt and top. The way she gazed out toward the water was mesmerizing, creating a serene and elegant vibe. These formal moments with her family—walking hand in hand, searching the horizon for dolphins—were the perfect way to start our maternity photography session.
Next, Samantha changed into the Aspin dress, a beautiful piece that not only showcased her growing baby bump but also added a touch of whimsy with its flowing train. It was in this dress that the family shared some of the most tender and fun moments of the day. You could truly see what family means to them—how Mila eagerly anticipates meeting her little brother or sister, and how much love she has for her mother. These are the kinds of maternity photos that will be cherished for years to come, capturing the essence of this special time in their lives.
As the sun began to set, Samantha changed into the beige tulle robe, which added an ethereal quality to the final moments of our session. The soft, golden light of the setting sun bathed the family in a warm glow, creating the perfect backdrop for some of the most intimate and tender images of the day. Samantha looked absolutely radiant as she shared a loving moment with her husband and Mila, both of whom gave her baby bump a sweet kiss, wrapping up the shoot on a heartwarming note.
