Today was the perfect day to welcome little Everly into the studio for her first-ever photoshoot! As a newborn photographer, I love these moments—being able to capture the tiniest details, the softest features, and those sweet expressions that only a newborn can give. Everly’s session was a petite one, allowing us to focus solely on her and the essence of newborn photography.
Her parents opted for soft, natural tones with a hint of pink, which worked beautifully with Everly’s complexion. We started on the beanbag, where we used a cozy pink blanket and wrap. To switch things up, we alternated between a delicate pink hood and an adorable pink flower headband. As I gently posed Everly, I added a few small teddies to bring out extra charm. The sight of her peacefully sleeping, surrounded by soft hues and cuddly props, was nothing short of angelic. Zooming in on those tiny fingers and toes is always a favorite part of newborn photos—capturing the intricate details that will soon grow and change.
For the next part of the session, we moved on to props. Everly looked picture-perfect on a little white bed, wrapped in neutral tones that kept the focus on her. We swapped the headband for variety, and as luck would have it, Everly gave us the sweetest little smile! These moments are the ones that make newborn photography so special—those genuine, fleeting expressions that make every session unique.
To wrap up the session, we brought out a fluffy bowl, perfect for digital backdrops. We also captured a few snuggly moments with a teddy bear, adding a soft, cuddly feel to the final shots. Everly was a dream to work with, and her session was a wonderful reminder of why I love being a newborn photographer.
From start to finish, her photoshoot was filled with sweet moments and lots of love, ensuring her family will have timeless newborn photos to cherish forever.
