On a sunny day, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Rebekah, Corey, and their newborn son, Archie, into the studio. Having already shared in the joy of their maternity session, we were thrilled to finally meet the little one who had been the star of so much anticipation. As a newborn photographer, there’s nothing more special than witnessing a family’s love blossom as they welcome a new life.
We began the session with some classic beanbag shots, perfect for capturing the serene innocence of a sleeping newborn. Archie, nestled in soft wraps and adorned with sweet little hats, looked like a dream. His parents had brought along a beautifully embroidered blanket, lovingly personalized with his name. Including such special items in newborn photos not only adds a personal touch but also creates cherished memories for years to come.
Next, we moved on to props—a fun way to showcase Archie’s delicate features. Placing him in a rustic wooden bowl surrounded by fluffy blankets, we focused on capturing the tiniest details. His teeny fingers, his itty-bitty toes—these are the moments that pass all too quickly, and it’s our job as newborn photographers to preserve them forever.
Posing with mum and dad was a heartwarming experience. The studio was filled with their overwhelming love for their little man, and it was evident in every shot.
